On 18th September 2020, the Zambia National Farmers Union [ZNFU] organized the national wheat harvest at Chobe Agrivision Farm in Mkushi District, Central province, Zambia. The program was officiated by His Excellency Dr Edgar Chagwa Lungu, the President of the Republic of Zambia. Camco Equipment being a Corporate member of ZNFU participated in the Program.

Engineer Chiwala talked about the the LOVOL Tractors that CAMCO introduced on the Zambian Market in 2019. He also explained about the advantages of the submersible solar pumps that CAMCO is offering to its customers.
His Excellency Dr Edgar Chagwa Lungu earlier during the program dis conduct a field tour of the Avocado plantation at Cropit Farm, led by Cropit Farm Management, the ZNFU President, District Farmers Association (DFA) Leadership, Sponsors and other Dignitaries. At Agrivision, Mr Stewart Parkes,the Host Farmer explained about what they do and also talked about the state of the art Combine Harvesters that they have. His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zambia proceeded to the Wheat Field to conduct a Demo Harvesting of Wheat at Chobe Agrivision Farm in Mkushi district, Central province in the John Deere Combine Harvester S660. After field demonstration the entourage gathered to hear speeches from the officials. In His Address, The President invited the participants in his crusade to bring development to the people of Zambia without leaving anyone behind with agriculture playing a key role. He further emphasized on the need to build Zambia Together.
During his interaction with CAMCO staff, The President reiterated his long standing desire to visit Camco show room at its Headquarters so he could see the full range of equipment that are critical to enhancing agricultural mechanization in Zambia.
