Mr Li Tie, Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification in Zambia, said the Health Center will serve as a backup force and necessary supplement to the“China Hospital”, a designated hospital for treating CoVID-19 patients in Zambia, and will be used to receive patients before the Chinese hospital is officially operational. Mr Li Tie stressed that Health Center will only accept asymptomatic infected persons or mildly ill patients; He went on to say patients with moderate or severe illness shall be transferred to Chinese hospitals or local hospitals for professional treatment. Medical professionals will assist in determining the classification of symptoms of patients admitted to the Health Center. Mr Li disclosed that Health Center provide accommodation, public health, medical platforms and telemedicine assistance to provide guidance to patients; The health center is open to all Chinese in Zambia, with priority given to foundation members.
