In late May 2024, Mr. Yu Xujiao, President of Zambia Shuangde College (tentative name), Mr. Simon Sakala, Vice President, and a group of four people visited the Shandong headquarters of Deyuan Group. Mr. Gao Haipeng, Deputy General Manager of Deyuan Heavy Industry (Shandong) Co., Ltd., received the visitors on behalf of the group. In order to better understand the group's suppliers' demand for local technical talents in Africa and improve the training system of Chinese and foreign technical talents in Zambia, the group visited and inspected the group's core supplier partners Shantui Group, Weichai Group and Lovol Heavy Industry Group under the arrangement of the group. The two sides also held a detailed discussion on the topic of technical talent training and development.
Zambia Shuangde College (tentative name) is a teaching institution established by Deyuan Group on the basis of Deyuan College that will combine academic education and technical education in the future. Deyuan College is a member company of Deyuan Group. It is located in Makeni District, Lusaka, the capital of Zambia. It was established in April 2021 with the authorization of the Vocational Education and Training Administration of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Zambia. It is committed to providing vocational skills training in the machinery industry such as construction machinery, trucks, and agricultural machinery, including equipment operation, daily maintenance and repair work.
Deyuan Heavy Industry (Shandong) Co., Ltd. is also a member company of Deyuan Group. It is the storage, distribution and performance improvement center of Deyuan Machinery in China. Its products include agricultural machinery equipment, construction machinery and spare parts. Deyuan Machinery fully supports the training of students at Deyuan College by providing models, teaching aids and other teaching equipment to Deyuan College.
